2025 East Bay Go Tournament
Time: Sun 9/21/2025 from 9am - 5pm
Place: Studio KDA, 1810 Sixth St, Berkeley
Tournament Details:
- 3 handicap divisions w/ 3 rounds (no open)
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each division
- Not AGA Rated (no AGA registration required)
Food: Breakfast & Lunch Provided
Registration Fee:
- General: $25
- Under 23 years old: $15
Additional Details
Prizes:
- $50 for 1st place in all divisions
- T-shirts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all divisions
Time settings: Fischer 20min + 15s/move
Schedule:
- Check-in: 9:00
- Please show up on time for check-in so we can start games at 9:30 am
- Enjoy some breakfast for showing up early
- If you are not checked in by 9:20 we are going to have to remove you from the tournament.
- First game: 9:30 am
- Second game: 11:30 am
- Lunch: 1:30
- Third game: 2:30 pm
- Awards: 4:30 pm

A. No, this is not be an AGA rated tournament
Q. Are we going to be outside?
A. Maybe? Last tournament we were able to fit everyone inside of the building, but it doesn’t hurt to dress in layers, put on sunscreen, and bring a hat!
